75D owners - How much does a full charge show for you?

I just charged my 75D to 100% for the first time ever (Dec 2016 delivery, car has 10,150 miles on it right now) and its showing a range of 253 miles.

Does that sound right, or should be it closer to the 259 spec? Is it normal to be off by 6 miles?

Reason I ask is because I've always charged to to 90%, and when the car was new, I would get a consistent 232 miles of range shown, but now I get 224-226 consistently. Seems like quite a bit of degradation in such a short amount of time?

My 75D has 2800 miles and since day one I've gotten 228 miles for a 90% charge. I've charged it to 100% once and got 253 for max range as well.

Battery degradation seems to follow an exponentially decreasing curve, not linear! So, you should expect the fastest rate of degradation during the first period of your ownership. That does not mean, however, that the degradation is large, it just happens at it's fastest rate during that time. See the link posted below for a darn good data set presented by a data analysis guru... It will be very interesting to say the least. If after you watch this you do not feel great about battery degradation in a Tesla, you probably need to watch it again and compare to the competition as well.

Have fun!

Mine was originally a 70D, June '16 delivery unlocked to 75D in April '17 when the price dropped.
100% charge provides 242 miles range, about the same as "100%" when it was a new 70D. So the update basically made up for the first year capacity loss (6.6% loss). I've only done 4 real (75) 100% charges for long trips - last time it was still at 242.

255 last time I took a road trip in June. I'll range charge again in 3 weeks or so and check. In April when I unlocked, I got 257 but it mostly stays around 255-256. I never sniffed 259 and I don't think the 75D BMS will report 259 due to new calculations when the 100D came out (initial 100Ds reported 345 miles but after the adjustment they all read around 334-339).

According to some folks, you have to drain to 0%, then charge to 100% then drive back down to 0% to get a valid check. The algorithm has a tough time predicting things in the middle of charge.

Additionally, this short video is the best so far, collected data from thousands of owners (add your data too). Range degradation is going to be dramatic initially, then stabilize in the mid 90s% for a very long time.
