I have a 2020 MX UK Spec and have just realised that despite having a 7KWh home charging point my X only charges at 3KWh so at 9 miles an hour max ever. Now I have a smart meter and can confirm that the draw is never more than 3 KWh!

I rang the Charge point installer and they have said the issue is the Tesla limiting the amps and I needed to increase the limit but I can't seem to get any more than 16 using the on screen slider.

Does anybody have any other ideas. The point is a Pod point 7KWh Untethered and my cable is a 5mtr Rolec type 2 and I also have a Ohme lead and the same issue occurs with either!

Any thoughts as to why the limit is stuck at 16 when it should be 32 or even 40 amps apparently?

George
