82 KWh Model 3 in Canada

It seems that in Europe, Model 3 Long Range is sold with 82 KWh battery (601 Km range) but in Canada/US with only 77 KWh (576 Km range). Does anyone know if/when the bigger battery M3 will come to Canada as well?

I believe the North American M3 LR does come with the 82 kWh battery. The specified range difference is due to the "fuel economy" testing standards used; EPA vs WLTP.

I could be wrong, but the Chinese long range are using LG batteries, while NA built use Panasonic.

Fremont built cars only use Panasonic. as far as confirming the battery size, i think you need to use one of those apps that give you more data from your car.

There are a handful, but tezlab and notateslaapp come to mind. I can’t say what is good or not since I’ve only seen some YouTubers use them
