I own a model S 85D. Just about 100K km built December 2015.
It has been a week since my charge port behaves different. When I open the charge port door, it slams open like it doesn't know where to stop. Then when I close it slams the same way and then reopens, close, open like that a couple of times until I drive the car and it settles closed.
But Yesterday when I arrived to the chalet with 30% battery, I pressed my mobile connector handle button, my charge port opens but stays dark and it does not get ready. I tried manually closing the door, open it from the touchscreen, the flap open but it never got ready. I manually pushed down the connector lock in the port and inserted the charge cable. Nothing happened on the port but the car started to charge like normal.
I was relieved that it would charge but I haven't tried to remove the cable yet, I hope the cable wont be stuck in there.
Is there anyone knowing what is the problem and what needs to be done here?
