85D vs P85D reliability differences ?

I Have a Model-S and my Drive-Unit reliability is:

  • Model P85D - No problem for me yet

    Votes: 6 37.5%
  • Model P85D - I had Drive-Unit replaced

    Votes: 0 0.0%
  • Model 85D - No problem for me yet

    Votes: 10 62.5%
  • Model 85D - I had Drive-Unit replaced

    Votes: 0 0.0%

I was searching the different threads to try to see if P85D have more mechanical issues than 85D.

After looking at Consumer Report details, I noticed that most of the time, when I see posts about "important problem", they are most of the time a performance model (P85 or P85D). Maybe this is because P85D users are more connected to TMC ?

So let's start that new thread to see if it's a fact or just a bad feeling I have (I am hoping for a X-P90D, but still have time to change to X-90D ...)

Thx in advance
