Coinciding with the announcements of new urban superchargers we now see several new locations by end of 2018:
    • Chelan
    • Okanogan
    • Yakima
These first three will complete US section of HWY 97, then we have
    • Longview
    • Enumclaw (Finally making Mt Rainier easily accessible with smaller pack cars)
    • Spokane
    • Tacoma
I have a feeling the above are gonna be regular superchargers whereas the ones below probably are Urban SC (72kW):
    • Seattle - Northgate
    • Seattle - U Village
    • Kirkland - Totem Lake
Notice the specificity of the shopping malls association.

Even if they can get only half of the list done by 2018 it is still very exciting news! :D

This is very exciting. Not only they are really committing to making SC available city areas but Enumclaw and Tacoma. Those two locations are very nice, something I want more than Seattle area (including Kirkland) availability.

Enumclaw is of course welcome but would still be nice to have something for those going to the south side (Paradise) of Rainier.

Several locations were not previously planned, though many have been "suggested" on TMC or other internet forums. For example, I and others have complained about the lack of SCs near Puyallup/Tacoma/Enumclaw. I've seen others suggest Longview, Roseburg, OR etc. Doubling up on Interstates will be useful, especially Hood River for me (I dislike the lack of food choices at The Dalles SC). Spokane is obviously well-placed. The addition of Fernie, BC is surprising to me (it's not at an intersection and I was hoping for Cranbrook). All in all, I'm happy with any additional SCs. Just more options for travel.

I would propose a real need for a supercharger in the Pullman/Moscow area. I traveled to Pullman this weekend for a PAC-12 football game, and I was unable to make it round trip to Ritzville. Had to top off at a business that is so gracious to have a Clipper Creek charger available. Good thing I went 100% at Ritzville before heading to Pullman.

Plugshare is showing three separate ChargePoint installations at WSU near the stadium, plus others farther away. If I was going, I'd take a bicycle along and use one of those during the game. Perhaps when you send in your SC suggestion to Tesla, you should also request a more
    destination charging at the stadium.

I've found charging at sporting events to be practically impossible. The parking just gets so crazy and people park wherever. Last time I parked at a Mariner game at a garage where I knew they had Level 2 chargers. I inquired about them when I paid and they said "yes we have them but they are blocked by other cars right now!"

I guess you could try showing up 2-3 hours before the game starts but that definitely isn't my style lol.

Yes, there's a place on campus Chargepoint J1772 station. However, during game days in Pullman the campus is severely restricted. Stadium Way is completely shut down, and I'm sure access to that parking lot is restricted. There are two other off campus locations, the Pullman Holiday Inn Express and Relay Application Innovation. I called the Holiday Inn and asked if they minded me using their charger, and they invited me to use it. I was however afraid that they would be in use on the gameday. I lucked out and I was able to charge up enough to get back to Ritzville. Took two hours, but I had expected that.

I am still fully in shock that they have plans to put Superchargers in Yakima, urban or not.

As that is my hometown, that has been an issue for me in the past knowing that I really only had Ellensburg to get fast power from.

Over the last few years some free low speed level 2 chargers have popped up around the valley, and this news just seals the deal on my Model 3 purchase. I should have no more concerns about having to restrict my driving while visiting in town.

I wonder if they will put it at the Service Center?
