And I believe it was @vandacca who promised that we'll get an infinitely adjusting active spoiler upgrade in software. With loads of extra range.

I wish my promises meant something in the Tesla world. TBH, my WAG for a continuously adjusting active spoiler will increase range from 1.6% to ~2%.

So my Dad finally got his 90D (non-performance) yesterday, and I was disappointed to see that it has a spoiler, as I don't like the look of it, and now I notice that there's inconsistent pictures in the configurator, but I was under the impression that it would have no spoiler. Is there an easy way to tell if it's an active spoiler or not? It looks pretty fixed to me, and there's nothing in the settings I've noticed that would indicate it one way or another.

So do Model Xes without an active spoiler have a fixed spoiler? I'm going to take it for a drive in a little bit and I'll try to pay attention to it, but I don't really think I'll be able to see all the way back there.

They do. And your dad appears to have a fixed spoiler, which is how they're now delivering 90Ds. Hopefully you'll get used to it, and hopefully he likes it..

Call me crazy but I was at the SC they had several X's 75D and 90D's with fixed spoilers I really like the fixed over the active I wish mine had the fixed spoiler.

Very satisfied with the fixed spoiler. Didn't want 2 holes in the back of my car where nasty dirty rain water can run through.
