Yep, sucks. Also sucks when you trade a car in that had the beta, pay $12k for “FSD” on your new car, only to have to go through this crap again.

Agree. Going through the same thing. I can understand their reluctance in "moving" FSD package from old to new car, but I don't understand the whole charade of signing up for FSD beta once again even if you have paid for FSD package in new car. I'd actually reckon this would increase the FSD take rate simply based on the confidence that you can have your FSD beta back again.
For me, I am not going to spend $12k on FSD this time around - I just don't have confidence I could get FSDbeta soon enough and I don't feel like playing the game once gain.

Awww i wish.. only went from 2022.16.1.1 to 2022.16.1.2
