I'd really like to see the supercharger taper on the new 90kwh batteries. If you get a chance take video of a supercharging session or jot down some charge rates in combination with state of charge.

And Ludicrous mode...:love: count me jealous!

@H. Syed.

Really looking forward to hear about the performance in the new P90D(L). Would it be possible for you to test it with a VBOX.

We, as in some P85D, owners regrettably does not have the promised performance - looking forward to see it this has been fixed with L mode.

For sure, take it to a 135KW location from the list North American Tesla Supercharger locations - Tesla Motors Club - Enthusiasts & Owners Forum and try to get as close to 0% charge when you start. Let us know the max KW charge rate you can achieve.

I just got off with Tesla. Car is at rail facility Richmond CA. It will be waiting there till they have it all filled for travel to Chicago area. Bummer. Looking at end of this month. Hopefully it will be earlier.
I mostly travel to St. Louis and use either normal or Springfield charger. Will test battery as soon as available.

Regarding p85D I have nobexperience. I drove p85+. Gave realistic 220 miles at 80 miles speed on highway in summer. 170-180 winter season.

Will keep you guys posted on any changed schedule.

I'm VIN 98368, ordered on 07/17 and confirmed on 07/24. I'm still in production so it doesn't look like my P90D will be making the trip to Chicago with yours. :frown:
My status just updated to "in transit from the factory".

Update from my delivery specialist:

"Hi Dave – your Model S is currently being prepared for shipment to the railway hub in Richmond, CA where it will be loaded onto a train and shipped to Illinois. They are currently estimating your P90D to arrive near the end of the month. With that being said, I will know more once the car is physically loaded onto the train and begins to ship out of the yard. I’ll let you know as soon as I have more accurate information and we can start looking at dates/times that work for your schedule."
