Many of you have seen this car and have had the pleasure of meeting the awsome couple that owns this beautiful MS Performance. To the eyes of the majority, this car with its beautiful unique red paint that many would love to have, but can't was perfect, but to me it needed work . I wanted the reflection of this car to slap me right on my face everytime I look at it and that wasn't happening due to the amount of surface scratches that were on the car. Just like on the previous article I wrote on the Silver Tesla I did for the Lee Family, many steps where taken to prepare the car for polishing and coating. Hope you all enjoy the pictures as well as the end result. Feel free to post or message me any questions you might have concerning the care of your Tesla or any other vehicle for that matter. Vehicle at arrival (looks like he told the wife..honey, car is going to Pete on Monday, jump on the car, we're going for a road trip :biggrin Prewash Foam pre saok, wash Time to tape delicate areas Inspection - Let me show you what you haven't seen :crying: Time to correct it (I remove the scratches. I don't use products with fillers that will cover the defects and reappear a month or 2 down the road) A couple of Before and After Correction done (this is how a car should look prior to waxing or coating) PH balanced citrus foam soak to remove any polish and oil residue GTechniq Coating installed - The after picture A PROFESSIONAL detailer will always make your door jambs look as good as the exterior of your car The interior was vacummed and properly wiped down THE END Thank you to Mr and Mrs Chanin for allowing me to enhance their beautiful MS Signature Performance. Coming next week - 2011 Tesla Roadster...stay tunned
Thank you. This job took a total of 15hrs (2 days) - - - Updated - - - and why would I do that?
I'm having trouble seeing the Signature script in the turn signal triangles. I looked closely at both pictures but couldn't see it. Are my eyes going bad? - - - Updated - - - I do love the white seats.
Of course you are paying for the level of skill of the detailer so there will be variations in fees. You can see Pete's fees here. Larry
Hi Roger, Yes, I am and the car looks even better in person in the bright Florida sun. However, its such a hassle getting to Pete's studio...all of 8 miles away to drive to the best master detailer and paint correction specialist in the state. Larry
I purchased a Tesla with 5k miles on it this week. The only downside is the original owner put it through some car washes and there are swirls in the paint. Would you be interested in doing near the same job on mine? I live in Sarasota.
It'll be my pleasure to work on your Tesla Sir . I sent you a message with my number. Contact me at your convenience
