A/C Went Out, how to diagnose?

I just wanted to update everyone who ends up reading this thread... I went to an AC specialist and he couldn't even get the compressor to turn on, so he couldn't measure my fluid level. At that point I figured I might as well do a fuse replacement. I went to my friend's body shop and we spent a few hours removing the DC to DC converter. I replaced both 40A fuses and resealed everything. Once I powered up the car the AC blew cold. Good luck!

Good stuff. So since you have a gauge you can now measure the low side pressure to assure yourself that your refrigerant amount is close to being correct. Hopefully, you didn't bleed off any. Pressures should cycle with the compressor and also vary with ambient. For 75 ambient you should see 25-35 psi with the compressor on.

Glad you resolved this since the A/C system is integral with battery management particularly when supercharging.

I have the same make/model and apparently the same issue. Question: Did your AC blow air and it was not cold? That is what is happening to mine. Question: Are these 40amp fises generic or any special make/brand? Question: Did you need to do anything with the refrigerant once all said and done? Last Question: Is it still working properly? Thank you.

Same happened to my 2013 P85. I changed the fuses
