A Clean Cabin Air Filter After 2 Years Use

Today I replaced my 2 year old Cabin Air Filter behind the glove box of my 2017 Model S. It also has a BIO defense mode. What I noticed was the cabin filter I took out looks clean with no stains or dirt. I have put in 87,000 miles on the vehicle and my thoughts were the filer should be dirty after use.

Is this normal for the filter to be so clean that looks brand new? The arrow was facing down with air flow.

Thanks

It's definitely because of the HEPA filter filtering the air first. so the cabin one does not get dirty. Matter of fact I purchased my 17 MS at 72000 miles and first thought was to replace the HEPA filter. So I bought one and when i opened everything up the HEPA didn't seem that dirty. Will do it in another year or so..
