My car received 8.1 update (17.11.3) last evening and still no Navigation nor Autopilot

Yeah as much as I love the car I've completely lost faith in tesla Taiwan's leadership and the clear non-priority of taiwan as a market to tesla.

I was told that Tesla deactivated it to comply with Taiwanese regulation.

It seems Summon will not be unlocked due to the limitation of Taiwan regulation. AP will release in June.

Any updates on this? I almost bought a Tesla in the States before moving to Taiwan, now I'm eye-ing one again.

AP and Navigation already released in TW this month, including Summon.

Would love the auto rain wipers.

Also, we took a step back with navigation. Previously the guidance could speak in Chinese with the OS in English. After the update before last the English OS had no voice guidance. This is something that is apparently being corrected but I will add to the list of to be done.

1) autopilot on local roads
2) Chinese voice commands and navigation while using English interface. I rely heavily on voice commands for inputting addresses and destinations, which works really well but I really would love the English interface!
