Strange that Paint armor is listed on line C, even though it was added into line A already. Line F is supposed to add A-E, but if you did, then the armor would be added twice. The final amount is correct, so that's all that really matters.
Yes, they seem to have a bit of a problem with this...my mvpa omitted showing the paint armourentirely in the option list but did add the cost of it to the bottom line...I advised the sales chap at TM about it & he emailed me a corrected mvpa the next day...
Jaff, since you got your mvpa, can you say what the Canadian values are for the Tesla Personal Delivery and the Final Prep?
Thanks for putting this up. I noticed there was a $7 California Tire Fee. If you are not taking possession in California, I wonder why they have included that (not that it's a significant amount)
This is excellent, thanks! Its good to see that we will not get hit with lots of little "hidden charges" normal dealers always try to stick you with ($750 in document fees my ass)
That's for the Massachusetts DMV (in Robert's case) and not something Tesla's pocketing. This is in addition to the heftier Vehicle License Fee. For me in Calif., it's $81 and includes (if you look at the way the CA DMV breaks it down), "Current Registration", "Current California Highway Patrol", "Current County Transportation Projects Fee" and a bunch of other small ~$1-each items. Here's a screenshot from my MVPA:
Well, wait till you see someone from WA post theirs. They have no sales tax at all on EVs and can afford a battery pack upgrade instead with the delta!
Don't worry, Massachusetts gets my money in other ways. It earned the "Taxachusetts" nickname (even though we're "only" 11th on the tax burden as a % of state income).
Hats off Robert. This is great. Thx! - - - Updated - - - WA, does have sales tax. It's us here in OR that don't. And yes, like MA, we have 9% income tax to make up for it.
WA doesn't tax EVs: Incentives for Purchasing an Electric Vehicle in Washington, United States | Tesla Motors
Oh nice!!! That's a huge perk for WA residents then. Now if only we can get our state $1500 rebate - refunded for next year.
Robert, looking forward to you getting your Model S, being in the same area as me, hoping we can meet up at a local event, or you're welcome to try out my 75A OpenEVSE I'm constructing now, I'm south of Boston (Randolph). Just set up my home equity line of credit as well, all part of getting ready Mitch
Put a pin on the Wikimap, Mitch! We'll definitely need to have a Boston-area gathering late this year; there's at least a dozen low-number reservation holders in eastern MA, probably 10x that.
