I hope it is the Double Dog Dare to release the new Roadster 400 mile battery pack at a price reasonable enough to get Model S people excited at a possible future upgrade for their cars.

For the record, the tweek is:
The word "little" isn't present. That suggests to me it has nothing to do with Model 3. Elon wouldn't have omitted "little".
Case closed.
Yeah, it's gotta be the AWD MS.
Oh, and can the "something else" be the first battery swap station?!? Pretty please...
Notice that the "D" is in the same font as the "P" in "P85". Suggests another trim level of the Model S to me -- perhaps dual motors as others have suggested?
I'm going to agree with those that think D likely stands for "dual motor" for an AWD Model S. It does surprise me that they'd release an AWD Model S before the Model X is available, from a marketing standpoint. But Tesla has often been about shipping things "when it's ready" and we know that AWD Model Ss have been in testing for a while.
Nicely done.
I noticed that. Remind me what "PODS" stands for? Also note that Tesla registered for a 2nd restraint system, which is 2 front and 2 rear. This Dual Motor Model S will have Two Rear seats (not three).
Yep, that's my guess too.How about the "D"ual motor (AWD) designation for the new version of the Model S?
That's my WAG anyway...
