Planning to pick up grey M3 performance on Monday (!!!) but didn't realize until just now that tires are summer tires. We're going to immediately swap them out for all season tires (no time to worry about swapping tires 2x per year), but I can't find any information on this on the forum --> is it okay to put tires with higher sidewall on the M3P 20" wheel? Ideally 40 or even 45? I'll never lower the car, but definitely want spacers.

I'll post a picture of a forum member's car that has the look I'm going for. Thank you all in advance!

It is never a good idea to deviate from the factory tire circumference.

If you want to use larger diameter tires, you need to consider possible interference with the steering knuckle near the upper ball joint. The Model 3 has about 0.5" clearance here.

Thank you - that doesn't look good. I used to have a 350z and ppl would put slightly wider tires on - in tesla case maybe a 240/35-20 just to get a little more meat around the wheel - could this be an option to avoid the knuckle in this pic?

Just looking for options here. I like the 20" wheels but stock tire size is concerning..
