AC Blower noise (Found)

Had this weird tapping/crackling/popping sounds coming from the vent for some time. It was coming from the passengers side and would only make noise when the blower was set to blow air towards passengers, not the windshield or floor. It also only made noise when the blower speed was set to 3-5. Any lower or higher and the noise would stop.

Well, finally decided the noise was too much and started looking for the source. Turned out to be a sticker just inside the vent. Fortunately, I was able to get it out with a set of long tweezers. Set the blower to 10 while trying to get it out just in case it was going to fall back in.

I had a noise like that last December. I shined a flashlight into the vent and could see a piece of a leaf inside. When the blower was one it would vibrate and make that kind of noise. I've had that problem before, once on A Volvo S60 and once on a Jeep Grand Cherokee

Thanks Black306! Had the same issue and found essentially the same problem. Inspection stickers flapping in the vent.

I have a 2022 SR and had the same noise too driving me crazy and it is a different type of sticker on the passenger side,.. it flaps like crazy when it is on high, I pop the trim halfway and see a sticker flapping... Bad design and issue..
