AC turns off even though Keep Climate On is set to On

I am traveling in Arizona . It is hot. When supercharging, I set the AC to a high fan speed, a low temp (61) and press Keep Climate On.

then I go out to the quick stop or whatever, and when I come back, the AC is off and the temp is set to 66.

What gives ? Why can’t I keep the AC on when I step out of the car? The app doesn’t seem to give me an AC option.

In my MSP, if I turn on A/C, then get out and walk away, the A/C goes off. I wait until I’ve walked away, the car has locked, Then turn on A/C with the App. It then remains on.

I find it works best to just use the auto mode and set the temp from the app when I am out of the car.

Funny I noticed the exact same thing today. I had to toggle to manual and back to auto to get the ac compressor to start cooling

Funny thing … the car started to keep the climate on in later stops, with the climate settings I had. No idea why it started acting right, but better late than never.
