AWD (Non P) - Will you buy the $2k "Acceleration Boost" to get 0-60 mph in 3.9s (from current 4.4s)?

I hate to interrupt the debt conversation with trivial stuff but I dug this up in the source code on my upgrades page. I have a LR RWD. There are different versions of this statement. Will follow up with more in a moment.

FYI - this has been posted multiple times in this thread already.

This appears to be only for the LR AWD. There are no other versions of the text in the code with the exception of different languages and different units of measurement. If that's the case, $2000 for 4.4 to 3.9 seconds is underwhelming. Wasn't $2000 all Tesla was charging for the stealth P3D?

This is my point. When the same model car costs 15k less a year later.

yeah, it doesn't though.

In 2018 it was $64,000 for a P3D- or $69,000 for a P3D+

And you were entitled to a $5000 refund from Tesla and a $7500 federal tax rebate.

Leaving net prices of... $51,500 for a P3D- and $56,500 for a P3D+

If you order today a P3D+ costs...$56,990.

And is missing about $500 in hardware your car came with.

In other words it's the same damn price as 2018

I know math isn't your thing, but $0 is less than $15,000.

For the P3D- assuming you can find one to take delivery of before Dec 31, that would be $50,990 minus an $1875 tax credit, so $49,115... or about $2000 less than 2018 including the HW differences.

Again, $2000 is less than $15000. A lot less.

And if you can't take delivery in the next 13 days the price goes up $1875 to, once again, be virtually identical with 2018.

MATH! TRY IT SOMETIME!

(Disclaimer- there's spots where pricing on colors changed like 900 times that might change the final net numbers for some folks- but it's be on the order of 1-2k, nowhere near the $15000 hysterics stuff[/B])
