Add FSD today, remove later?

I didn't make my CT reservation with FSD. I know that I can edit it and add it. Question is if I add it (to lock price before next week increase) and when time to configure, if I don't choose FSD, does that "change" open the whole reservation to new (then current) pricing? I suspect that my reservation pricing will be better than the then current pricing and don't want to jeopardize my reservation pricing...

Looking for folks who have experience with changing reservations with MY or so....

Thank you, but not exactly what I am wondering....

If in 2021/2022 when I'm asked to configure, if I remove FSD (assuming I add it today), does that removal open the floodgates for Tesla to change the vehicle price from what my reservation states to the then current pricing?

Yes, but... history has shown that Tesla prices trend downward not upward within a year to 18 months of release dates. Not saying that will be the case in the future, but it’s been the case in the past.

Good luck and stick with FSD. Don’t listen to the Chicken Littles. It is and will be incredible.
