Just a heads up that the forum will be going down tonight/tomorrow for planned maintenance at 02:00 UTC

We're going to attempt a long awaited upgrade/migration tonight. Most likely starting around 9pm EST.
It will probably take a day or so.

While we're down, the forum will be in a read only mode since any new content would be lost when we switch over.

there’s ways to avoid most downtime, I’ve used Percona XtraBackup for MySQL Databases to great effect in a couple of forum re-hosting projects, along with studious reduction of dns TTL beforehand

Actually just logged on via my Macbook and it's a lot clearer, so it could well be down to the zoom level I've got my browser page at.

I see they've resolved SSO

All looks good, only issue I'm having is discerning unread threads. Need to increase the weight of the bold styling that's applied when a thread has unread posts. I seem to have this issue with both dark and light modes. Typically my eyesight is very good.

Agree with this one - the weight of the bold text is very subtle.
