Understand we're all hoping to just keep the car in the lane with EAP / drive on navigation etc, however it would be nice if the car could detect within lane debris and attempt to maneuver around if safe. I know the title is somewhat whimsicle and don't honestly expect the car to see a nail, but larger debris which may contain nails like pieces of wood etc.
Yesterday I was driving on nav and there was some debris in the road, very minor for my lane compared to the next lane which had a sheet of plywood flying in the air, but none the less i received a nail and am getting a new tire today.
