Advertised LR range drop caught on video (412 to 405)

At one point I noticed that the range on the web site for the LR was 405, but I could have sworn it had been higher. Indeed I saw some launch review videos that mentioned a range of 412 even as they showed the order page with the 405 listed.

I had first noticed this when the NYK guys had been looking at that page after the broadcast last night so I went back and looked and sure enough they caught the range change in real time. Someone on their chat said that there had been a price change and so they refreshed the order page and you see it change from 412 to 405 on the refresh.

Maybe in the future, you can subscribe for more range on demand?

It was 420 miles at one point. Evidently they are not using any new technology batteries yet. This was to show real world numbers at production start, I am sure. It will only improve as production ramps up.

My 2020 LR gets 404, but it only has 2 motors, and is slow.
