Advice on expectations for 22" vs 20" tires on P100D

Been using 20" OEM Conti tires on my X90D since day one and had even treadler through 38k miles. Now have 7/32 left with even wear on second set at 11k miles.

Looking at a 2017 X P100D with 22" Pirelli Scorpions...what difference will I see in mileage, ride comfort, energy use?

Mileage u will see 10-15% hit (same as energy usage) ride you will definitely feel the road more

Around town you’ll see 15%+ hit

Highway maybe 10% hit

You feel the road and holes a lot more.

If you are comparing range between a 90D on 20" and a P100D on 22" I think you'll still get slightly more range out of the latter. But as others have said, there is a 10-15% hit on absolute range compared to OEM 20" wheels/tyres. If you want best mileage and ride quality then you are better off swapping back to 20" on your P100D. FWIW when I tested an X on 22" wheels, the ride wasn't so bad, but that was on pretty good roads. I find the ride on 20" fairly harsh and choppy on poor surfaces, so wouldn't want to go any bigger.
