Hey folks

I haven’t had any exterior situations like this (at least to this extent).

Was looking for some advice on what options I have to fix this. My car is a lease till September 2020

Closer towards the driver side passenger door is where the scratch is deep and I can feel that it went into the paint. Will the paint repair tubes that Tesla sells fix something like this?

Yeah, that went through the clearcoat on the last shot... that sucks. Maybe you can buff 80% of it if it is not so deep (can't tell), but even then, you will not want to buff so much that you eliminate it completely, that would be risky. I'd take it to a pro.

It can be repaired. I had a shorter scratch like that that I suspect was a metal buckle on a purse or backpack.

Anyway, do get both color and clear touch up pens.

I like: Touch Up Paint and accessories | AutomotiveTouchup

If you wet sand or buff / polish, you are removing nearby paint to get it to the same level, which is not great.

Look up Langka blob remover. Watch the YouTube videos. Get some. It’s great to smooth out hand applied paint. It’s a solvent. Get the “hard” cloths that go with it. Langka - Blob Eliminator

Apply the color using a tiny applicator (even a toothpick). Smooth that out with the Langka. Let it dry. Apply the clear. Again, with a tiny applicator. Smooth it out with Langka. Let it dry.

Now it’s time to buff it out! Most of the defect will be filled in. Much less buffing, much less paint removal.

I mean...you're going to have to fix it. A touch up pen isn't going to look good at all and when you turn in your lease, a touch up-repair will not cut mustard. That's a multipanel repaint, unfortunately. Since it appears to be vandalism, file a police report and call your insurance.
