Advice - potential new owner

I've never paid anything approaching the sticker price for a BMW. That said, I wonder if deals will be available on their EVs any time soon. My Tesla lease is up in a year. I don't think there will be much viable choice then due to the public charger network maturity. We'll see.
When I looked at the Mercedes EQA I was told that there is no price negotiation, the car is sold by Mercedes UK and not the dealer, the dealer is paid a fee for the sale. I wonder if BMW is doing the same?
They seem to be mimicking Tesla..

IF the Tesla Supercharger network is opened up to "other premium brands" then the i4 could be interesting. But not at £70k.
