Aero 18” wheels on Performance breaks

I have read on the facebook group that it is possible to use the 18” Aero wheel on a performance M3 with the performance package ( big brakes) as long as you use the right spacer. I can’t seem to fin that post again so I figured I would ask here.
Does anybody know how thick of a spacer I would need? And if this would actually work.

I don't believe it would be even with a spacer. The aero 18" barrel is just too narrow even if you push it outwards. It's certainly possible though I guess.

Why not just get an 18" rim that does fit?

I just like the wheels under the aero covers and having the aero option for longer trips for efficiency would be nice. I actually just twitted Elon and Tesla to see if there is any chance of offering the Chinese performance wheels for US, I actually like those even better then the 18” Aeros but I would hate to pay 4K for those

We have a set of fully forged Signature SV502 18x8.5 ET20 for sale. 18lb each. The wheel provide plenty of brake clearance on performance brake setup as well as hub lip clearance.
There are few scratches around the lip from mounting previously. (hard to see it after the tire is been mounted.)
