Aero Cap Wheels in Settings

Exploring the Settings screen I thought I'd see what options there were in Wheel Options. Much as I expected, other than the option to select Aero Cap Wheels, rather than Aero.
I did so and now the image of the car has the wheels as I have them. Nice, but does changing from the flat disc to the center cap make enough difference that it needs a software setting??

I did wonder if it altered the range calculation on the dash as the efficiency is different but it seemed to make no difference to mine. Haven't tried changing the wheel size to see if that makes a difference. I suspect its just eye candy.

No change

I’ve just changed the old style wheel cap kit I bought off Amazon, for the new style kit from Tesla. The old ones centre caps were corroding after only 3 months. I hope the genuine ones last a lot better.
