Aero Wheel Cap Kit

On Tesla's Store, they show a silver set of the Aero Wheel Cap for the MY and a black set for the M3. Can the black M3's be used on the MY Gemini 19" Wheels and will they work if you have Wheel Locks installed? Other than the color, was not sure if there was a difference or not on the cap sets, they look almost identical, not sure why they would not put them available for both if they are the same.

Can't imagine that it would work. The M3 wheel covers are 18" while the MY covers are 19". Also, the alloy wheels underneath are different on each car and that's how the covers attach.

The cap kits are interchangeable as long as you stick with the factory lugs. As for the wheel lock it probably varies. The lock shape and height may not work with the plastic cap.

The kits are pricey but are good quality. Both look good on the naked Gemini wheel.

Sorry, I thought you meant the whole wheel cover. not just the caps. Disregard my idiotic post.

I posted some pics of my Y with the Gemini Wheel Cap Kit in the Pics of white Y with and without Gemini covers thread. On page one of that same thread, there's a picture of the wheel with the aero cap kit installed.

Not sure with wheel locks, but the 3's kit does work on the Y.
