Amazing wheels! Do you recommend quality rim protectors to add on those to help prevent damage from my spouse's driving habits?

Ooohh.. I do not. I'm sure you can get those rim protector rings but i'm sure a big enough force can still see some curb rashing throught he protector rings. I'd say go with an appropriate tire and tire size for extra protection or ultimately, get her her own car or take the keys away.

Do you have an offset that would allow the use of the michelin ps4 255/40-20 on the front and 295/35-20 tires that won't rub? If not, am I better off going with 245/40-20 and 285/35-20 on the back. I would like to go with 255/40-20 on the front if it won't rub, but I am concerned that being even 0.1 inches larger in diameter would look funny with the rear tires being smaller. That is why I was thinking about the 295/35-20's- more for the added diameter that the extra width if they would fit.

For the Model S? Widest and safest we've done is 285/35/20 in the back with 245 up front. Best setup to get. 295 is just too wide and would rub on the inner liner or rub on the fender no matter what offset we do to push it out to not rub on the inside or bring it in to not rub on the fender.

1500 lbs per corner would be 6000 lbs GVWR or gross vehicle weigh rating, way more than the Model 3 rating at 963 lbs of cargo and passenger capacity.

@untilcomplete if this is axle load rating, then these wheels shouldn't be on the car and violate DOT regs... (which I doubt)..

Curb weight (I rounded up for even more of a buffer)
  • Standard RWD: 3,552 lb (1,611 kg)[5] ~4552 GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating)
  • Standard Dual-Motor AWD: 3,757 lb (1,704 kg)[5] ~4757 GVWR
  • Mid-Range RWD: 3,686 lb (1,672 kg)[5] ~4686 GVWR
  • Long-Range RWD: 3,814 lb (1,730 kg)[5][6] ~4814 GVWR
  • Long-Range Dual-Motor AWD (including Performance): 4,072 lb (1,847 kg)[5] ~5072 GVW

@Xenoilphobe Thanks for the info! There isn't much data on the VS Forged line and trying to make sense of it before jumping in. Thinking of the VS Forged VS02 or the Titan 7 TS-5 (both in 19x9). Both are pretty similar in price and looks except the VS02 has the Black Friday deal going on right now.
Just confirm that they are mono-block forged and you should be GTG as this would be a very good price @ $2100.
If they are flow formed this isn't a good deal... also ask if they have a lifetime warranty on their mono-block product.

I'm just glad they are vendor, kinda hoping the others guys would be one on TMC too!
