After Market Rims Causing Bearing Issues

Service center is replacing wheel bearings out of warranty on my legacy MS2020. They tell me that my aftermarket t-sportsline rims may be the cause(20s). Anyone else experienced this? I’m considering upgrading to the stock 21s, hate to think I’ll be looking at repairs down the road if I put the 20s back on.

Whell offset can cause premature bearing wear. The people at T-Sportline are very knowledgeable--check with them.

Update: since I mentioned it while the car was under warranty and they misdiagnosed it they covered the repair as a “good will” gesture. She rides like she’s brand new.
