Aftermarket footwell lights and dimming

I am looking at replacing the footwell lights in the Y with some abstract ocean white LED.

I like to have them on at night and they provide a very soft, almost unnoticeable glow. With the aftermarket lights that are advertised as being brighter, do they dim down when the car is in drive?

Would hate to have super bright footwell lights on at night. Thanks!

Yes, they dim. I have the AO set and they work great. MUCH better visibility when parked, and a perfect level of light when underway.
