Hey, as the title says I'm getting my new Unplugged Performance BBS rims in soon and am looking for recommendations on a good shop to swap them out with my current 21" rims. I'm fairly certain the Tesla service center will not perform the work, as I've asked about it before. I'm worried that taking it to the typical Mr. Tire or whatever will result in damage to the vehicle due to the technicians there not having ever dealt with a Tesla... Thanks!
Its just a car, not some magical beast. Any decent tire shop that you would trust the $4k wheels to should have no problems dealing with it. If you're really concerned about it you could print out page 132 from the manual and give it to them. If you give your location I'm sure someone could give some info into decent tire shops in that area.
Ah, yes I should've mentioned that lol... I'm in Chantilly, VA... and yea it was more that until now I've never had to use a tire shop. So I'm looking for a good one in the area.
You may want to update your TMC profile to reflect your location...right now it just says "U.S.". It will help get you better responses in future posts you make.
