Air Conditioner blowing slowly and not cooling much

I noticed that the AC couldn't keep the car cool in 95 F weather and it wasn't blowing very hard even on level 11 - more like level 4.

I keep my car outside so I decided to check to see if the air intake was clogged somehow. I pulled off the 3 plastic covers and discovered that inside the air intake for the huge filter that is behind the fronk there was about a 3" pile of leaves. It was nearly impossible to vacuum them out because I could only get a 1/2" hose in through the vent. I decided to try blowing, and that worked fantastically well - the leaves all came shooting out. Then I vacuumed out the leaves that had made it all the way to the small cabin filter. The AC started working normally. Before I put it together I taped a screen over the plastic air intake cover so leaves couldn't get in again.
I hope this helps others if they notice their AC getting slow and warm.
