Guys... there is no air suspension for the 3 or the Y.

Like- the CEO of the company just literally told us that. Today. As pointed out in this thread. Roughly 5 posts ago.

Roughly 1.7 inches difference between min and max clearance IIRC (4.6" and 6.3" respectively- with the older non-adjustable ones having like 5.5" clearance or something)

Right. So what was the source of this whole story? No one has still explained that. There was a part labeled as for the 3/Y whIch still makes no sense. 3/Y parts don’t fit anything else.

Weird that something they were perhaps testing (because it was originally supposed to have air way back when) escaped. Whole story is nuts.

AFAIK, it all stems from a wiring harness spotted in the parts manual with "AIR" in the description. Hardly conclusive.

There’s also references abound to the non-premium interior ... and even the occasional reference to a metal roof. Doesn’t mean any of them will actually hit the market.

Go read the owner’s manual and see how many times you read “if equipped” for things that are in EVERY Model 3 produced.... it’s clear to me that a bunch of things have been shelved over time.

Bet you don’t have a Raven with adjustable dampening. It’s a big difference between old S/X Air suspension and many other cars air suspension. It’s one if me favorite features on the X (formally a 3). You doubt you’ll hear it’s overrated by a Raven owner.

Yes, as someone already pointed out there was supposed to be a 'track pack' which has now disappeared, although that may have been shelved because of a delay in a particular part and could re-appear in a few month's time...

That tweet is from 2.5 years ago, almost a year before the config he's talking about even existed.

The more recent one is from yesterday.

It's probably more reflective of the facts.

It's hard to believe anything he claims, he also said there would be a million robo taxis on the road by 2020!
