Air suspension strut leak

Hello,

I recently replaced the struts on my 16 MS (with Air suspension) with the unplugged performance racing suspension and now the Air suspension won't hold the height. Mechanic said its the o rings where the Air suspension connect to the strut. Tesla doesn't sell o rings separately. Has anyone run into this issue? How can I get new orings without having to buy new struts?

Help is appreciated.

It is fairly easy to rebuild the air shocks. They start leaking when the corrosion builds up and the O rings can not seat properly. Cleaned it up and reassembled. Problem solved.

Hi @BaaMNYC ,

The translated part of what @davidc18 purchased is:

These are for rebuilding the STRUT not inside the air fittings where the hose connects to the strut.

If you need the o-ring where the hose attaches to the strut, you
(or your mechanic) must measure it and look it up at McMaster...

Good luck,

Shawn
