Alarm Activation on Remote AC Cooling

Hi

My car alarm keeps going off after I turn on the ac via the app. The temp in the car is about 60c when I turn on the ac. I assume it’s something to do with the rapid change in temperature or possible airflow (direction of airflow position?). Is anyone else having this problem?

I know it’s been extra hot in the UK recently but I’m sure not hotter then California so I’m a little surprised the alarm goes off in this manner.

Use the overheat protection which prevents the car going over 40 deg and see if it still happens.

Not had any issues with this, but have had it go off whilst inside. It’s very sensitive, could be a bug. No, not a software one, a fly, a spider etc.

I agree with this, mine kept going off the other week and it was a (very) small fly.

I've not experienced this but bugs will for sure set it off.

US cars don't have the interior sensor, I don't believe. But all cars in Europe atleast do.
