Alarm Mode and Lightening

Has anyone had issue with the Alarm being set off by either lightening or thunder? Its happened several times and I don't know what the exact 1 of the 2 is the cause. I believe it's the lightening, but the loud thunder rumble might really be the cause. Once I get the ap alert, being away from the vehicle, doing a remote lock/unlock of the vehicle silences the alarm. I guess my small concern is if I'm remote from car, like on vacation, and somehow don't get the alert the alarm was triggered, I assume it will time out and eventually stop with the noise and flashing lights.

+1 from me. I turned off Sentry mode and hopefully that will stop the false alarms.

This happened to me this weekend. I think my alarm was triggered 3 times in the past two days. I believe the first time was from very loud thunder. It happened last night though too, and I think my neighbor was just getting into their car in front of mine. I disabled the new camera for sentry mode option. Not sure if that will fix it.

I've had the Security Alarm activate while parked close to professional fireworks. Very loud booms similar to thunder set it off a couple times. Video of the event shows up on the "Internal" section of the Sentry video playback.
