Except we know almost nothing about how the Y will differ from the 3 except that it will -- speculating because Tesla has not said anything definite -- have a hatchback and be slightly taller than a 3 so the seating position will be higher. And therefore the range will be somewhat less than the 3 for the same battery size.

If that is enough information for your spouse, I'm glad.

She doesn't use all the space in her minivan right now, but often needs more space than her Camry can give her when she's doing painting projects or other fix-it type things. If the "Y" is on the "3" platform, but more space in the rear? It's perfect.
