Interesting... With the slow thorn leak I had for a few weeks on my S it was often 2-3psi less left rear than the rest (about 1-2 weeks between top-ups) and I never noticed any handling change, Different suspension?

Wow, you must have optimised your own built-in human alignment sensitivity. You may be approached by F1 teams to supplement their suspension calibration tech!

No

Each tooth in the steering hub describes a large angle, so that's not how you'd want to center the steering wheel.

What you'd actually do is just adjust a nut on the tie rod -- which shortens or lengthens it -- by equal distance on both sides. This will have the effect of angling both wheels in parallel, while position of the steering wheel remains fixed

Mine is off as well, Tesla doesn't want to cover it. Wants to charge $300 for an alignment. Question is, can any wheel alignment shop handle this or is this something that only Tesla can perform?

Anyone else can do it, but they will need a reasonably up-to-date database to pull the stock settings from.

Also of interest: My biggest improvement with road noise, does anyone in the UK have one of the trackace devices they would be willing to lend out if paid 2 way postage? Don't really feel the need to own one, but interested to try one!

Also, if it's obviously off and the car is reasonably new (or can be shown to be a problem at delivery), they really should cover it. After any amount of milage tho they will just say you rammed a curb. $300 seems a lot tho!

Less than 3k miles but they were able to see it's gotten worse over the last 1500 miles, but still do not want to cover.

Tesla promptly and with no hassle at all gave me the alignment sheet...

Moral of the story - watch your tyre pressures!

According to your before sheet, you had a really small camber issue. That may have been tricky to adjust.

Hi just checking to see if the pressures in your car showed different levels? Just picked up a M3 yesterday and my pressures are all the same but the car is pulling to the right quite a bit

I would be getting it into the Service Centre pronto! It should drive straight as a die or something clearly isn’t right.

I was booked in yesterday and they 'fixed' it but it's still doing it, so back in today again. Bit of a joke
