I ordered the model Y long range in September 2021, and my estimated delivery date continued to be delayed until I added FSD. After adding FSD, I got my model Y literally the day after.
As is well known at this point, my model Y has paint drips, gaps, chips, misalignments, missing retainer clips, window malfunctions, and so on. As I was prepared for some defects, I was not a bit surprised. I merely requested the service for fixing these defects. The first available appointment is one month later.
However, my car has one thing I haven't seen in this forum. I would like to ask the experts here if it is normal.
All four doors have multiple huge gaps in the door edge welding. The gaps are so large I doubt that the interior will be shield to protect from corrosion. Please let me know if this is normal and okay. Thank you!
