Over the past few weeks, traditional car manufacturers have spent oodles of cash advertising their 2013 cars on the boob tube.

All new! "Standard of the World", etc.

    I watch all these commercials now and just y ... a .... w ... n ....

Sorry, but there's only one (type) of car on the planet that is all new.

Tesla or another true EV. (Love my Leaf for now.)

Must be sad working in those ad agency's trying to come up with something "new", when nothing really is?

    Except EV's.

    What exciting times!

Anyone know what P reservation number they're up to for the design email?

    R

So true.... after extensively educating myself on EVs 6+ years ago, ICE vehicles just don't do it for me any longer.

I have a habit of taking all the car ad claims and saying the Tesla does it. I find car ads amusing now. When I get my S they will probably be more amusing.

There's one particularly funny (to me) ad I've been seeing that talks about advanced technology while showing animations of explosions in cylinders. Apparently "advanced" has a meaning I was not aware of.

Well, a typewriter could be described as advanced, if made in carbon fiber :)

I love my Leaf as well but can't wait for my Sig Performance S to come in next week hopefully. I'm at SP #904 and have been told to expect delivery this week but it is looking like next week.

Uh, oh. I was not paying attention in class. I was educated (some question it) in Europe, UK to be more precise. :(

I believe you are looking for ignition timing. It's almost always advanced.
