Anyone run a 275/40R19? These tires are also about 28” in diameter but are actually designed for a 9.5” rim and have a wider contact patch (rim protection). The only pitfall I see so far is 10% increase in weight.

The weight rating for the DWS06 is 101 where as the Michelin AS4 is 105 (model Y for 19” standard is 104).
275/45r19 for the DWS06+
If you prefer Michelin then 275/40r19 as u mentioned.

Has anyone run a 275/ 45 19 on the geminis? I’d be interested in seeing this with the steering knuckle clearance. I’ve seen it done with a +35 offset on a 19x9.5 and a +40 offset on a 19x10 and both clear. Would be interested in seeing if the +45 makes a difference. FWIW we know the 255/50 fit on the stock 19s.

Did you find a home for your OEM ProContacts? If not, send me a message. Tx
I am planning on replacing my OEM ProContacts and will be selling them if you're still interested.

I'm also trying to figure out the largest 19" tire that will fit the gemini wheels. From what I've seen, 245/55/R19 with the same 19X9.5 +45 setup as stock will work and will add ~0.8" to the ride height. This will probably be the size I go with if I keep the gemini wheels
