Showing age here, but thought it might be cool to see what cars people have owned leading up to their Tesla. Here's my list:

* 1989 used 1982 Nissan 200SX (White) - totaled in accident
* 1991 used 1988 Chevrolet Beretta (Red)
* 1994 Honda Civic EX (Camilla Red Pearl)
* 1996 Ford Mustang GT Convertible (Green)
* 1998 BMW 323i Convertible (Green)
* 2000 BMW 328i (Steel Gray Metallic)
* 2006 BMW 330xi (Black Sapphire Metallic)
* 2010 Audi Q5 (Frost White)
* 2014 VW Touraeg (Oxford Blue)
* 2016 Audi Q7 (Jet Black)
* 2018 BMW X5 (Metallic Blue)
* 2020 Ford Raptor (Performance Blue)
* on order - 2021 Tesla Model Y LR (White)

Got my first car at age 18, kids came in 2002, the SUV's not long after. Much needed being involved in travel ice hockey, with son playing and me coaching. Raptor was a pandemic purchase as it was very useful in home renovations. Also, I'm getting offers to sell to dealerships ABOVE the MSRP what I paid for March 2020.

One accident where I totaled the car. Next accident after that wasn't until the 2010 Q5.

Looking forward to no more gas pumps.

I've had a lot of cars for my age... longest I've kept any one was just about 3 years. Promised my wife the 3 would stay for at least 5 years... lasted less than 2. New promise is 5 years for the Y, I give it 3 tops. haha

I have owned over 40 cars (I've stopped counting) starting in 1967 with my first car - a 1966 MG Midget

I have owned OVER 20 Corvettes, and currently have this 2004 Z06 sitting next to my 2021 Y
I bought this from the original owner who had it 17 years. Just rolled over 21k miles

This is the first Corvette I bought that started me on my habit
1965 327/350 4 speed convertible that I bought from my dentist's son while having a cavity filled
That was one expensive cavity
