Tesla now selling the winter all weather protection kit + PPF for around the wheels to protect the paint.

I've ordered as I'm moving this year and moving my Model 3 from SF to Toronto. Will report back on it once I get the packages.

I was just reading an article about this yesterday how Tesla is offering this as a result of a class action suit in Quebec for the peeling paint. I assume they would have just offered the PPF as a standard included option like several other manufacturers..

That's nice but PPF for rockers needs to be installed from the front wheel all the way back to the top of the extended hips in front of the rear wheels. Tesla paint quality and road debris = disaster for paint.

Well, presumably, the mudflaps block debris from hitting the rockers, and the PPF is for the flared part in front of the wheel well, that is outside of the airflow protected by the mudflaps.
