We’re excited to kick off a great TMC Connect this weekend that includes attendees and speakers spanning six continents.

Filmmaker Chris Paine, Tesla alum Zak Edson, EV advocate Chelsea Sexton, and others will be giving talks and attendees will have the opportunity to connect with other Tesla and clean energy enthusiasts. The final schedule and session list can be viewed here.

Here’s the rundown on the weekend’s events:

Friday: Check-in at the Hyatt is typically after 4 p.m. We should have your badge and swag ready after 4:30 p.m. at the Convention Center on the hotel campus. You’ll want to arrive by 6 p.m., since that’s when the reception starts and you can pick up your badge until 7 p.m. Reception goes until 9 p.m. or so.

Saturday: If you haven’t already, you can pick up your conference badge starting at 8 a.m. There will be a light breakfast and coffee. Sessions start at 9 a.m. Afternoon sessions finish by 4:30 p.m., and will be followed by a group photo and drinks. You’re free for that evening.

Sunday: There is an 8 a.m. optional breakfast. You can then head over to REFUEL or do whatever else you want to do in the area. The parade lap will be at 3:20 p.m., though you’ll want to get there an hour or so earlier to get your ticket and to get your car lined up before entering the track.

REFUEL: Spectator access to REFUEL is free, however this year they are charging a $20/car fee for the parade lap. However, we have coordinated with REFUEL so that if you show your TMC Connect badge when you purchase your ticket for the parade lap, TMC will cover $10 of the fee for Connect attendees.

Parking: We have a parking area at the Hyatt Monterey that’s specifically for Tesla vehicles located near the Racquet Club. As it’s a relatively large amount of parking set aside for us, if you’re driving a Tesla please park there in order to free up parking for other hotel guests. If our lot is full simply park where you like.

Charging: We’ll have several level 2 chargers on site at the hotel in our parking area. However, to minimize the load on those, try to charge nearby at the Tesla Superchargers at the Monterey service center on your way in.

Register: If you haven’t yet registered for the TMC Connect, it is not too late to gain access to all, or just parts of the conference. In-person registration fees will be higher, so please register at this link to avoid the price increase. Although our hotel room block at the Hyatt Monterey is closed, you may check for availability on their website here.

We look forward to seeing you there!
