Well the Eastern Range is closed all through July starting just after the launch on Jul 2nd so I'd bet it's this Sunday since SpaceX will be boringly quiet in July.

It certainly could. The Model 3 has a lot of parts from suppliers. Any one of them delayed delays the whole thing.
Now, I don't think that will be the announcement. But I certainly don't agree that a delay couldn't happen.
