oh, hey. hahah. so after a fun adventure taking my model 3 to an autocross event and noticing how aggressive the traction control / stability control is, my only other issue with my model 3 seems to come down to its stock tire option.
and after all this hoo-ha-ha about breaking distances i figured time for a new thread!
jumping over to tirerack, usually my go to spot for good rubber, i notice they rate the MXM4 as average. and its 500 rated utq5 is not what i usually look for in a "good" tire. i am sure tesla chose it for max range and what not, but i place driving dynamics over max range.
so with that said i am really looking at the continental extremeContact sport. i guess my only worry is the load index and rim width class, does anyone know the stock 18" rim width?
