My tail light lens next to the charge port fell off. There's no physical damage to the lens. Service messages me with a repair estimate of around $450! I asked them why the repair cost is so much when all they need to do is glue it back on. They responded by informing me that the whole light needs to be replaced "to ensure the seal is correct". This seems suspicious to me. I would think that applying a good adhesive and putting the lens back on would be sufficient. There's nothing else wrong with the light. It's sort of like saying that if your printer runs out of ink you have to buy a new printer instead of replacing the ink cartridge. Comments?
