Am I supposed to receive a cost estimate 24 hours before the appointment?

Hi all,

Fortunately, I've never had to go in for service before, however that leaves me with some inexperience. The app is telling me there may be cancellation charges if cancelling within 24 hours of the appointment. Currently the status says they are preparing a cost estimate. What happens if the estimate comes in within 24 hours of the appointment, or even not at all, thereby not giving me a reasonable opportunity to review the potential cost of service? Or is there a separate quote given at the actual appointment which can be reviewed?
 
The estimate usually comes fairly quickly. If your appointment is less than a week away I would open a chat and ask about the estimate. I'll tell you true though my estimates have been simple items like door handles and a trunk latch. Nothing that required troubleshooting or issues with unknown causes. Good luck!
